Have you ever actually listened to the lyrics? I mean, actually let the meaning of the words sink in?
I wonder if people would still like this band if they paid attention........

Does Anybody Here Her
She is running
A hundred miles an hour in the wrong direction
She is trying
But the canyon's ever widening
In the depths of her cold heart
So she sets out on another misadventure just to find
She's another two years older
And she's three more steps behind chorus:
Does anybody hear her? Can anybody see?
Or does anybody even knows she's going down today
Under the shadow of our steeple
With all the lost and lonely people
Searching for the hope that's tucked away in you and me
Does anybody hear her? Can anybody see?

She is yearning
For shelter and affection
That she never found at home
She is searching
For a hero to ride in
To ride in and save the day
And in walks her prince charming
And he knows just what to say
Momentary lapse of reason
And she gives herself (chorus)

If judgement looms under every steeple
If lofty glances from lofty people
Can't see past her scarlet letter
And we never even met her

~Casting Crowns

Or maybe this song.......

If We Are The Body
It's crowded in worship today

As she slips in trying to fade into the faces
The girls teasing laughter is carrying farther than they know
Farther than they know

Chorus:
But if we are the body
Why aren't His arms reaching?
Why aren't His hands healing?
Why aren't His words teaching?
And if we are the body
Why aren't His feet going?
Why is His love not showing them there is a way?
There is a way

A traveler is far away from home
He sheds his coat and quietly sinks into the back row
The weight of their judgmental glances
Tells him that his chances are better out on the road

Jesus paid much too high a price
For us to pick and choose who should come
And we are the body of Christ

Jesus is the way

i'm not sure what your point is, i just happened to see the video the other day, it seems the message is that there are people dying to know the true love and affection of christ as shown by his "hands and feet" (us).

that first song is so true there are girls, and guys also going away from home look for more and they try to find it in relationships, and a lot of the time the relationships don't last. you don't see to many at all that last.

The other song is true also, there are people who walk in a church and don't feel welcome, they feel like every one is just staring at them

Good post... Casting Crowns is amazing

Sometimes as christians we look down on the ones who need us the most. The boy who is constantly in trouble in school, mouthing off to teachers and anyone in authority. He is so hard to close to because of his hard shell. The girl who is very "familiar" with all the guys in school and doesn't seem to care about her reputation or why the guys really like her. We have to remind ourselves to look past the hard outer shell and realize we usually have no idea what their life has been like to make them the way they are. And sometimes the good christian kids who actually have the answers these kids are looking for, are avoiding theses very kids, instead of at least praying for them. I love this song. I don't think it is just talking about the church, but us as christians whereever God has placed us, be it school, or workplace. Most people who are hurting don't necessarily show it on the outside. By the way, I have been guilty of this many times.
